Solid Rebrand

The Solid team came together to brainstorm the opening for the new reel.  Solid wanted to showcase how when clients bring an idea to us, we are able to take it through a refining process making it more “solidified.”

The process

In these boards, I wanted to convey an organic process, similar to a cell developing through different stages of evolvement--until reaching its final form.  I sketched out storyboards and provided 4 different perspectives to the 3d artists. I worked along side the modelers and would give feedback on how the object should animate and from which angle. These renders were used as a base, where I designed and painted on top in order to communicate the concept stylistically and effectively to the rest of the team.
